HEALTHPRO HERITAGE TO EXPAND WELLNESS OFFERINGS THROUGH AGREEMENT WITH SILVERSNEAKERS

HUNT VALLEY, MD – Jan. 23, 2024 –HealthPRO Heritage, a national provider of therapy and clinical solutions for skilled nursing, senior living, and home health care will expand wellness offerings to seniors throughout the United States through a new relationship with SilverSneakers®, the nation’s leading fitness program for older adults. HealthPRO Heritage will offer SilverSneakers classes to residents at senior living and long-term care client facilities to eligible individuals. In addition, eligible non-residents may attend classes at the facilities at no charge.

The agreement is the first of its kind between a national rehabilitation services provider and SilverSneakers, a solution offered by Tivity Health. Bringing the program to HealthPRO Heritage sites has the potential to increase access to fitness and wellness opportunities that are proven to improve the quality of life and overall health of participants. Based on a recent survey, more than 86 percent of SilverSneakers participants say they feel healthier, with 68 percent reporting an improvement in mobility and balance.
