What she finds most rewarding
"As a COTA, one of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping patients work toward their goals and regain their independence. I enjoy seeing the small victories that can make such a big difference, whether it's a patient becoming stronger, gaining confidence, completing a task they were previously unable to do, or reaching the point where they are ready to return home."
On leading her team
"As a Rehab Director, I also enjoy being able to support and lead my team. I believe the energy we bring to the workplace matters. I try to lead with positivity, encouragement, and a sense of fun while still maintaining a strong focus on providing quality care."
Why the work stays rewarding
"Every day brings something different, and although there are challenges, the opportunity to positively impact a patient, encourage a coworker, or help my team succeed makes the job rewarding."
